Mauermuseum · Partner Programme
Allies of Freedom
The partner programme for the future of a witness to freedom.
Freedom needs allies.
01 · The mission
A witness to history lives on only if we keep it alive.
The Mauermuseum – Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie preserves what happened – not as a closed chapter of history, but as a responsibility for the future.
02 · The future
More than preserving history. Giving freedom a future.
Since 1962, the Mauermuseum – Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie has preserved original objects and the stories of people whose desire for freedom was greater than their fear.
Today, this independent witness to history, the Mauermuseum, is looking for allies.
